| The Courthouse Volleyball Club and Dead Frog Volleyball Club have united!!! We are excited to announce that the Nationally-recognized Dead Frogs club organization will be utilizing the Courthouse Athletic Center Kalamazoo for their home base in addition to the Courthouse Athletic Center Grand Rapids for additional team options.
We are merging both organizations and combining all coaches, players and administrators, as ONE club, united under the Dead Frog name. This move will strengthen both clubs and allow more players the opportunity to compete at higher levels. Teams will be offered at the National (Kzoo only), Regional, and State levels. SPRING LOCAL TEAMS

Teams will have practice 1-2 times per week on Thursday nights and every other Satuday morning (Dec schedule will vary due to the Christmas season)beginning Thursday December 10. All practices are held at The Courthouse. Teams will compete in the following 1-day competitions located in the West Michigan area: 13u/14u/17u/18u will compete Jan10, Jan 23, Feb 7, Feb 20. 15u/16u will compete Jan 9, Jan 24, Feb 6 Feb 21. Each team will also have the option of participating in 1 2-day tournament March 13 & 14.
Cost to tryout for a winter local team is $30. Cost for the 2010 Winter Local Season upon making a team is $425. Cost includes all practice time, membership fees, tournament fees, coach pay and player equipment (uniforms, practice shirts, shorts, kneepads). The only additional fee would be teams choosing to do the additional 2-day tournament March 13 & 14 (approx $28 per athlete).
Athletes who tryout for a spring team after participating on a winter team will be discounted the tryout fee, uniform fee, and membership fee for the spring season (average spring season cost without the discount is $495)

State level teams will practice 2 times per week beginning the week after Spring Break and will compete in approximately 4 tournaments through the end of May/first of June.
Cost has not been established for the 2010 season. Please plan to find this figure posted as we get closer to tryouts for this level. Cost includes all practice time, membership fees, tournament fees, coach pay and player equipment (uniforms, practice shirts, shorts, knee!pads). Athletes who have also participated on a winter team will pay a discounted spring season rate as they will not be required to pay a tryout fee, uniform fee or membership fee.
