The Courthouse Basketball Academy (CBA) is individual training that will be conducted in small groups (max of 8 players) and cover a wide range of offensive moves and skill development that will help players progress in a more intimate, hands-on setting.
Our instructors will be going over moves off the dribble, moves off screens, ball handling drills as well as game application for those specific skills. Players will need to pre-register for these classes online, with the ability to pick specific dates ahead of time.

In the morning (Shooting & Ball Handing), campers will work on the two most important skills in basketball through demonstrations, drills and intense work. Our skilled coaches will teach practice techniques that create positive results. We will then do lunch from 12-1pm where campers can bring their own or purchase pizza ($1.50/slice). In the afternoon (Games & Competition), campers will develop team concepts through basketball games along with individual and group competitions. Skills will be taught in a competitive and fun environment. All campers will receive a tshirt.

This camp will feature station work every morning, with drills being taught by Drew, as well as some of the best coaches from the area. Each day Drew will provide lectures and demonstrations on individual improvement. The camp will feature a number of shooting and ball handling contests throughout the week with awards being given out daily as well as on the last day of camp. The basic fundamentals of basketball will be taught in a fun, learning environment. We will be using smaller basketballs and lower rims to insure proper form and technique. Motor skill development as well as skill work is also stressed. The goal of this camp is to give kids a positive introductory basketball experience.

A step up from Little Hoopers, in this camp our coaches will demonstrate and instruct on drills in all areas of basketball (ball handling, shooting, passing, etc.). This camp looks to develop strong fundamentals in a fun and exciting environment.

This camp will cover an array of skills and moves aimed at making campers better offensive players. This includes moves of the dribble, shooting off screens, passing and creating shots for you and your teammates. This camp is for players looking to enhance their offensive arsenal.

The camp where guards go to get better. This camp will benefit point guards, shooting guards, and wing guards looking to improve their games. Our instructors will work with campers on ball handling, moves of the dribble, fast break decision-making, defensive strategies, and other areas of the game specific to guards. Campers will leave with a better understanding of the guard position and a list off areas for improvement going forward.

The inaugural Drive Basketball Camp will feature intense station work every morning, with drills being taught by Grand Rapids Drive staff. The basic fundamentals of basketball as well as individual improvement will be taught in a fun and exciting environment. There will be various individual and team contests throughout the week with awards being given out. Team concepts will be taught through 5-on-5 scrimmages and lectures.
Camp will also include t-shirt, sports drink and snack, 4 flex tickets to 2018-19 season

This camp is for the serious basketball player only! This camp will feature intense drills, conditioning, and team and individual skills. Ball handling, shooting, rebounding, and defensive development will be stressed. This camp requires hard work and will be run similar to a high school/college level practice. All aspects of the game will be covered in this camp including offense, defense, rebounding, ball handling, and shooting. In depth station work followed by individual and team competitions will be involved. We will also go over several high school level drills and concepts to prepare the girls for the next level. This camp gives a chance for the more serious players to work on their skills.

New this year! This camp, targeted for wing and post players, will cover all parts of the game for the modern forward/center. We will cover back to the basket moves, face up moves, pick and roll, pick and pop, and an array of offensive concepts from finishing around the rim to spacing the floor. We will also be teaching defensive, rebounding, outletting and running the floor from a big's perspective. The instructors for this camp will be a combination of post and wing players to help implement game application and team concepts to the campers.
